Mouse lysozyme is capable of breaking the chemical bonds that are situated in the outer cell of bacteria. The wall of the bacterial cell contains a layer called peptidoglycan that targets lysozyme. The layer of peptidoglycan contains various molecules such as N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetylglucosamine.
These two molecules create a strong glycan chain which mainly acts as the backbone of the cell. The link between these two molecules is cut down by lysozyme. Once the chain is cut down by lysozyme, it kills bacteria. Mouse Lysozyme (LZM) ELISA Kit has various applications in both dietary supplements and food items. The egg whites of Hen are some primary commercial source of lysozyme. Basically, egg whites are considered the most copious dietary source which is comprised of around 0.5 percent of albumin present in egg whites.
One of the most significant uses of lysozyme is derived from various health supplements and that even in the form of unique properties. Some other benefits include bladder health support, inflammation management, and wound repair.
Lysozyme is, no doubt, an essential component of the human immune system. Increase infection or vulnerability to cold indicated that body requires lysozyme. Moreover, frequent diarrhea or lung problems in newborn babies also indicate a low level of lysozyme.
