Produce Center
While certain chemical production is being carried on within human body, there are enzymes that help in increasing this production level. Superoxide Dismutases is such an enzyme in humans, that is specifically used for catalytic action during partitioning procedure of superoxide, into molecules of hydrogen peroxide, or general molecular format. As a by-product of metabolism with oxygen levels, this has to be regulated to prevent further damage of cells. Hence, it can be stated that this Human Superoxide Dismutases can act as an antioxidant defence mechanism in case of cells that are specifically exposed to oxygen for a certain time period.
This enzyme plays a major role in pathogenesis of a number of cardiovascular issues, along with atherosclerosis and hypertension problems. As per tests performed with Human Superoxide Dismutases Elisa Kit, in certain subcellular locations, these play an important role in stopping oxidative inactivation of nitric oxide. In this way, peroxynitrate formation can be stopped in mitochondrial and endothelial dysfunction. Since, this is an encoded enzyme, hence it acts as homodimer that is used for converting superoxide radicals that is naturally occurring to certain molecular oxygen, to reduce its effect. As per recent reports, people having ALS condition can have proteins as Superoxide Dismutases agglomerated in neurons and spinal cord.
