Know how Human Nerve Growth Factor is important for human body!

There are a number of peptides in human body that help in enhancing growth hormones of the body. Quite in tune with it, Human Nerve Growth Factor is also a neuropeptide and a neurotrophic factor that has an important role in regulation of growth. Apart from that, it has certain other activities such as importance of itself in regards to certain neurons. It helps in growth, proliferation, maintenance and survival in growth rate of certain neurons. There are specifically 2 biological process associated with it: survival of beta cells that are pancreatic in nature, regulatory procedure of human immune system.

Functions associated with Human Nerve Growth Factor:

This has a major role in growth and proliferation process in sensory neurons. Apart from that, other functions that are specifically related to it are part of sensory neurons. It undergoes apoptosis in its absence and is important for survival of such neurons. It has high affinity between nerve growth factor and certain PCD mechanisms. This programmed death of cells, regulates genetic transcription that provides survival of cells. Also, this has a role in beta cells of pancreatic nature. This growth factor has a role to play in inherent and acquired immunity factor. Also, it has a role to play in ovulation of humans, and insemination procedure. Quite strikingly, this has a role to play in human behaviour in case of romantic relationship by secreting certain hormones.

Further research and tests are being carried out by Human Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) ELISA Kit that shows results in association with these functions.
